She may have the flu: Achy, high fever, and fatigue are this year's flu. She might just have a viral illness as well. Look for diarrhea. Keep her well hydrated. Go see your peds doc and she will better assess her, as she can't go to school in that state.

Have her see her doc: She could have flu or any of the other viral illness or strep. If it is strep then she needs too be treated w an antibiotic. Make sure that it is not streptococcal infection before persuing symptomatic treatment....

This constellation of symptoms sounds like the start of a viral illness, upper respiratory or maybe gastrointestinal. Sometimes fever develops later so still be on the lookout. If it is the flu, people get very sick very quickly. Rest, lots of fluids, symptomatic treatment is appropriate for viral illnesses not antibiotics.
