Bruising ;irritation: The probable reason is that, after having sexual intercourse for the first time, you may have had some bruising and small tears of the vagina, which is causing discomfort when inserting and removing tampons.

Position?: If what you're stating is that you feel dizzy when you bend over to pull the tampon out, putting your head down around your waist and looking upside down, this would be normal.  There are nerves near the cervix which can cause a drop in blood pressure and dizziness too, so both could be the cause.  If persists, see family doc, internist or neurologist.

today was the first time that i wore a tampon. after removing it my period stopped & hasn't start back as yet ( 7 hours later). why? - 18 y/o, virgin

No worries: A tampon soaks up blood far more efficiently than a pad.  It may take a few hours for the remaining blood to make its way out now.  Tampons are so comfortable you can forget you have one.  Always check at the end of a period to be sure you have removed the last one, especially if you notice any unusual odor.  Use the least absorbent size/type you need for your level of bleeding.

when removing a tampon, it seems to always be stuck to the inside of my vagina and even comes unraveled due to this and is very painful. the tampon is not dry and can even be full. why does this happen more often than not?

Accepted Answer

Could be just: clotted blood, or increased cervical mucus.  Sometimes hormonal fluxes occur in a woman's body and you bleed more than normal, or with more cervical mucus.  If you are on birth control pills, this change could be due to variation in the pill's hormonal content, or your very own.  Monitor and see if this increase returns.  Have your periods been regular?

Irregularity common: Being a day or two late in one month is not uncommon, especially if you've had a stressful month or had changes to your weight.  Retake your pregnancy test if your period hasn't come in a week.  If your cycle is being more irregular than the past for a couple months in a row see your doctor for evaluation.

Toxic shock syndrome: Toxic shock syndrome or TSS, happens when tampon is left in place for long periods of time such as 8-12 hours. That's a tough one!: I doubt that having sex with tampon in place had anything in particular with you not having a period.  I presume you could have an infection with delayin menses or maybe you just had one of those months where you skip.  Pregnance is always the ultimate cause of no  period.  Get a pregnancy test.  See gyn if there continues to be a problem.
