Pain armpit MI?: I see this was 3 hours ago so if you were worried about it you should be in ER now. Need much more information which your Dr knows I do not.  If you have not yet I would do now.

Left armpit pain: Pain in the left arm pit and back in the scapular area may be due to muscular spasm or muscle strain. If you have no previous history of heart disease and not taking birth control pill then physiotherapy may be helpful

Pain: No way to tell without examining you and perhaps getting some imaging studies. Make a list of all your symptoms and the sequence in which they occurred and go and see a doctor. You might try highlands regional medical center.

Get checked asap: There are many reasons you can have pain in the left armpit. There are any unknown factors as well-your age, medical conditions, family history etc. One cause can be heart pain. Therefore, with no other information available about you I would advised your get checked immediately. If you have risk factors for coronary disease, hypertension, cholesterol, overweight you should go to an emergency room

See your doctor!: Your symptoms could be due to many different things, including musculoskeletal pain (as in pulled muscles of chest and shoulder), infected cyst in your armpit, breast problem (as in cancer spreading to axillary lymph node) and cardiac problem ( as in heart attack).

May be serious: How long have you had these symptoms and how severe are they?  If of recent onset and pain is 10 out 10, it is safest to go to the er or even to call 911.  If you have had these symptoms slowly progressing over a few months, then see your doctor.  Possible causes are broad depending on the rest of your symptoms and exam (aortic dissection, spinal stenosis, cardiac, lung, esophageal).
