? Nerve pain: Can't really offer a diagnosis here without more history and exam but i would consider something like meralgia paresthetica.  Look it up and see if it corresponds to your history which is often of tight jeans, belt, or other compression of the lateral femoral cutaneous nerve.

Many things: It could be related to the food you eat.  It may be gallstones.  It could be your liver or pancreas. Kidney stones on the right will cause pain. Also it could be due to your appendix.  Get checked out by your primary care and they can help steer you in the right direction/.

May be a hernia. : You should make an appt with a flesh and blood doc who can examine you directly, not a virtual Doctor. If you have not found someone to your satisfaction in Brooklyn then I have an office in Manhattan. It sounds like you might have either a direct or indirect hernia. If you indeed have that as the cause of your problem there is a good surgical fix for it!
