what can be causing a pain on right side near the waist?

1 doctor answer
Dr. Neil Ellis
12 years experience Anesthesiology
Many things: It could be related to the food you eat. It may be gallstones. It could be your liver or pancreas. Kidney stones on the right will cause pain. Also it could be due to your appendix. Get checked out by your primary care and they can help steer you in the right direction/.
