i am experiencing  leg pain, leg swelling and calf swelling my leg is red hot to touch my gp is not open don't know what to do ?

Usually an emergency: Calf-swelling with pain is usually an emergency because doctors want to evaluate the patient to see if there is a blood clot in the leg. Such a clot can break off a chunk, flow to the lungs, and be fatal. There are other causes of leg pain and swelling, but always rule out the potentially lethal ones first. One should tell doctors about any surgeries, injuries, medications, prolonged sitting, etc.

Further eval needed: Such as X-ray if your leg is swollen and tender with difficult or pain walking. ibuprofen will help with pain

Leg swelling: I would see a doctor ASAP, as new developed leg swelling is not normal especially when is in one side, one should rule out blood clot or obstruction.

Have it checked: Lowe leg tenderness and swelling, particularly when these symptoms are in one leg only, suggests phlebitis or even venous thrombosis. It would be wise to have this checked. In the meantime wrapping the leg in an ace bandage (4 inch) decreased activity and elevate the leg would help. Also one aspirin 3 times a day. Good luck.

: Localized pain, swelling, itching behind the knee is not very suggestive of a blood clot especially since you are on a blood thinner.
