Have it checked: Lowe leg tenderness and swelling, particularly when these symptoms are in one leg only, suggests phlebitis or even venous thrombosis. It would be wise to have this checked. In the meantime wrapping the leg in an ace bandage (4 inch) decreased activity and elevate the leg would help. Also one aspirin 3 times a day. Good luck.
