Spotting: This sounds like spotting and it could have a variety of causes from an inflamed cervix from pid to endometriosis.  I would be seen by a gynecologist for evaluation.

Age.Investigate: consider inflammation of tubes and ovaries.A PAP smear if not done in the last 5 years and maybe a DDNC.
See gynaecologist.

Possible: It's possible that you have the same problem on the other side as well. You have to go for evaluation and appropriate test ASAP. No need to live with pain.

Imaging: She may want to do an ultrasound to make sure you don't have an ovarian cyst or another reason for your pain. If pain unrelieved with pain pills, there could be a cause that can't be relieved with medication and she would want to know that in order to best help you and diagnose what may be ailing you.

Retrouterine fluid ?: With a history of "multiple cysts" in the ovaries, fluid detection on U/S is most likely due to spontaneous rupture of one or more cysts, and is not dependent on the day of your cycle.  Without fever, pelvic pain or other signs of infection/inflammation, the fluid seen on ultrasound is benign and of little significance.

what can small amount of free fluid behind uterus seen on two different u/s mean? they have been done on day 10 of cycle. they see multiple cysts on each ovary. is it normal to see fluid behind uterus on this day of cycle? shouldn't it be gone?

Fluid: It takes a while for fluid from a likely ruptured cyst to absorb. It does not sound concerning especially if they think it is coming from a cyst.

Normal findings...: If you've never been pregnant or its been awhile since you were, your uterus can be quite small.   Ovaries are sometimes just hard to find.  They are small and not in a fixed location so they hide behind bowel gas, stool, or other structures in the pelvis.   Small ovaries are hardly ever diseased.  Its the enlarged ovaries we tend to worry about and they are easier to see.  Best wished!

ConsistentModeration: Your metabolism is like a fire. Fuel it regularly to maximize it.Eat palm sized portion of protein and complex carb every 2-3 hr. Sprinkle 4 fruits & 4-5 veggie portions across the day.Hydrate!water intake (10 oz x 10 times a day). Do not restrict as your body parts need all types of nutrition for optimal function.Exercise in moderation 30-50min 6days a week: fast walking, swimming, biking.
