No: This is something called a benign fasciculation (twitch). These are harmless though irritating and can be brought on by fatigue or anxiety, though more often than not, they occur spontaneously - "out of the blue".  They generally come and go and can show up in various parts of the body, e.g. eyelid, thigh, calf.

just noticed bump on right side of head above ear painful to touch. ive been on amoxicilin for the last week because i that it thought it was my tooth?

Bump: if a week of amoxicillin hasn't resolved issue needs to be seen about, could just be a tophi, mayh be sebaceous cyst.
