pain in my right back of hip at si joint. if laying down, when i try to stand up i can't put any pressure on right leg til it just goes away randomly?

It's usually from: Muscle strain. Try taking otc tylenol (acetaminophen) or Motrin and apply warm packs. See your dr if u get worse especially when u have weakness or shooting pains in your lower extremities.Bend with your knees. Take care!

Get it checked: Pain in lower back and hip needs to be evaluated by your doctor
it may be due to problem with your spine like herniated disc and sciatica
you need a detaied history and physical exam and imaging like mri/cat scan to make a proper diagnosis, and appropriate reatment plan.

Not likely: It's not likely that it's out of place. Something else must be going on that's making you feel this way. Without other symptoms mentioned it's not clear what this could be.  If you are having problems with movement, bearing weight, then a full evaluation should be made. History is also very impotant- eg. A recent history of trauma or a joint disorder would influence a diagnosis in this case.

It could be abdominal pain referring to the area (stomach, kidney, other)
Could be arthritis or joint type pains.
Commonly, back pain can be caused by a pinched nerve which can radiate to the hips.

Strengthening: Muscle strengthening, particularly the CORE (abs and obliques) can help stabilize the spine.   Hip strengthening can help gait and posture.  PT can guide you, and bracing may help, but muscle strengthening is first place to start.

See below: Sometimes it can be tricky and requires a complete history, physical examination, and imaging studies by a physician. Usually hip pain will be felt in the groin and in the buttocks radiating down to the level of the knee.  Back pain is often in the low back and can radiate all the way down to the feet.

Back pain can be bad: lumbar disc disease frequently refers pain to your "hip" which in  most people in reality is their buttock. true hip pain is usually felt in the groin and of front of thigh.

Not necessarily: Joint noise is often due to the forceful extraction of gas that has built up in the joint( cracking of knuckles) at other times it may be due to soft tissue structures like ligaments and tendons not gliding smoothly over the joint and moving with a snapping motion. Joint noise can however indicatec early changes of arthritis. Best to be seen medically and evaluated.
