Still your back: Many people think they have hip pain when it is actually back pain. If the pain is not in your groin it is not hip.

Back pain can refer to the hip. But hip and back problems can occur at the same time. Given your young age, it would be less common to have 2 problems at once, but possible. Evaluation of the hip with exam and xray can rule it out as a source of your pain. A hip injection can also provide insight.
