Home test: If you have missed a period by 4-5 days you can do a home pregnancy test to settle the issue. Use first morning urine and follow the instructions in the kit carefully.

i had really bad pain in my right ovary the first week i got pregnant. i did not know at that time i was pregnant. should i be worried?

Most likely no worry: The ovary releases the egg during ovulation.  The egg released is the one from which women get pregnant. The cyst that released the egg not uncommonly can bleed a little bit into itself and cause a stretch of the ovary capsule resulting in pain on that ovulation side. Pain that continues or starts later however should be viewed with caution as possibly an ectopic pregnancy (in the tube).

8 weeks pregnant, had a sharp pain in my right ovary and lower back. went away after a few minutes and area isn't sensitive or sore at all. am i ok?

Probably: If the pain recurs, see your OB for an ultrasound to ensure no risk of an ectopic pregnancy.  A tubal pregnancy (ectopic) is dangerous because it can rupture and lead to life-threatening bleeding.  If you had previous pelvic infections, ectopic, adhesions, endometriosis, or recurrent pain; see your doc asap.  Take care.

Trust the tests: Home pregnancy tests are very accurate. They are the same tests used in a doctors office. They can detect a pregnancy 7-10 days after conception. The best time to take one is when you miss your period.  If you doubt the result you can repeat it in 1-2 days. If you were pregnant the hormone level would rise enough for detection.

th next day after sex i took the plan b pill , its been 5 days  after sex and my right ovary hurts ..could i be pregnant?

Probably not: You're probably not pregnant because you took the plan b.  If you were pregnant from 5 days ago, there is no way it could cause pain, since it hasn't even implanted yet.  Something else is causing the pain.

That&#x27;s fertile time: One can do a urine pregnancy test, which gives a reliable result 3 weeks after sex (3 weeks after when conception might have occurred), or 1 week after missing a period. If done sooner, a positive result is likely real, but a negative result may be due to testing too soon, and thus lead to a repeat test. If a woman gets her normal regular period, then she is not pregnant, and a test is not needed.

Yes: You need to check a home pregnancy test.  If this is positive, you should be seen your right ovary pain could be more than that!

i have pcos. i took clomid 50mg+letrozole 2.5mg after 2 failed cycles on 2.5mg letrozole. cycle day 13 u/s showed a big follicle on my right ovary. doc said i o'd-day 21 level=13. could i be pregnant if i'm on day 32 with negative pt and no period?

: If ovulation was documented on "day 21", a pregnancy test on "day 32" would be negative even if fertilization occurred.  If HSG shows open tubes, and semen analysis is normal, pregnancy is possible.  Obtain a serum HCG test in 7-10 days to be certain about pregnancy. Ask about a HSG (hysterosalpingogram) to make sure your tubes are open, to maximize chance of fertility.

Take the test: If you want to know if you are pregnant, take a test. In today's world you do not need to wonder if you are pregnant or not based on symptoms. Pregnancy tests are available at any pharmacy and in minutes you will have your answer. They can detect a pregnancy 7-10 days after conception. The best time to take one is when you miss your period.

Many things: pain in your left ovary could be mittleschmerz which is the pain of ovulation. Pain on one side of the other could mean a tubal pregnancy. Waith a week and get a test and then waith another weel and test again. Not a bad idea to contact your doctor.
