Muscular pain: Given the duration of symptoms, your age, and the condition, I would think of it being a muscular type of pain that is probably due to spasm of the muscles from the position you are at inside the car.

i'm a 26 year old male and i am experiencing some aching in my chest area underneath my left clavicle. it gets worse if i sit or lay down. what is it?

Depends: You need a good physical exam and better history. depending on how long and under what circumstances , and if the pain is sharp, changes with change of position. 
Differential diagnosis:
1)Mechanicl musculskeletal pain, worse with active or passive movement.
2) inflammatory ie pleurisy, a lung problem , infection, TB, virus, Lupus, shoulder bursitis, pericrditis
3) heart disease ie pericardial

Possible Gas But...: At 7 weeks out from surgery you should be well-healed. This may likely be gas-related pain for which you could try over-the-counter remedies like Gas-X. That said, post-operative complications can occur, so I would suggest you call the surgeon's office and speak with a nurse about your specific symptoms, as they may warrant an in-person exam in certain circumstances.

Must check the heart: Anyone with severe chest pain has to see his doctor or go to the E.R. To be checked right away for a heart problem such as a heart attack. That means not waiting at home to see whether or not it turns into a really bad situation. As the saying goes, "better safe than sorry". If it turns out to be a painful lung, stomach, esophagus, or ribs problem, the E.R. Doctor can still begin treatment there.

Need to address ASAP: Need to address what might harm you the most quickly.  Your chest pain radiating down your left arm describes a heart attack. Take aspirin if not allergic and seek help NOW.  Your back and leg symptoms sound more like a herniated disc /sciatic nerve injury. Only after you are evaluated for your heart, a workup for back problems as mentioned should be initiated. Answer is not on internet, call 911.

Maybe: You are young and presumably healthy. Your pain is very unlikely to be due to a serious condition like a heart attack. However if you are concerned the ER is probably the fastest place to get re-assurance. Its honestly better to get seen by someone in person for these types of symptoms.
