Muscle cramps: likely muscle cramps from coughing &amp;#40;I am assuming you are healthy&amp;#41;.  Take that Tylenol (acetaminophen) around the clock and lots of hydration.   Take care!

Pelvic pain: Pelvic pain is complex as there are several organs in the pelvis. The ovaries, fallopian tubes, uterus, cervix, bladder, appendix, intestines, colon and rectum can all be the source. Pelvic pain requires and examination to help organize the evaluation.

See your MD: This could have many etiologies.  You could be pregnant or have an ovarian cyst or inflammation etc.  You need to see your doctor.

Hernia?: Sometimes coughing can cause a groin hernia. This can be painful, and is sometimes associated with a lump that is bigger when standing or coughing. This is usually in the crease of the groin near the public bone. If the pain is higher on the abdomen, it is unlikely to be a hernia. An exam by your primary care doctor can help sort this out. Left lower abd pain: Well, there isn't too much hanging out in that area.  But, since you are female, you always have to consider ovarian problems or uterine problems.  Any other symptoms?  Are you possibly pregnant?
Inflammation of the colon and constipation can also cause left lower abdominal pain.  If you have constipation, I would try a stool softener and see if that helps.

Obstetrician: This is probably ligamentous pain with an enlarging uterus, but if it is very severe the best way in which to solve this is to go to your obstetrician and be examined. Good luck and have a great baby.

Maybe a big deal: Acute pain in left lower abd, tender to touch  can be diverticulitis, ovarian issues (cyst, torsion), ectopic pregnancy, other issues.  Hernias that are incarcerated or strangulated can cause this as well.  Chronic pain could be above, or even colon cancer
this is at least a medical urgency, if not emergency.
Call your doc now, or go to er.

Cough/ Cold Tips: For sore throat – gargle with warm salt water (1/2 tsp salt in 8 oz of water). * For congestion – saline nose drops or a neti pot. *For anti-inflammatory effect &amp; mobilizing mucus- homemade chicken noodle soup.**For hydration- lots of water. Try clear broth. * Add honey &amp; a small amt. of lemon juice to Chamomile tea.  Consider acupuncture for med free pain relief.

Hernia?: A hernia may be a thought in this context, although other possibilities may exist.  Are you having any diarrhea or constipation?  Nausea?  Fever, chills, sweats?  Are you having pains when you’re not coughing, or only when you cough?  If you’re thinking “yes” to these questions, you may want a doctor to examine your abdomen.
