Maybe a big deal: Acute pain in left lower abd, tender to touch can be diverticulitis, ovarian issues (cyst, torsion), ectopic pregnancy, other issues. Hernias that are incarcerated or strangulated can cause this as well. Chronic pain could be above, or even colon cancer this is at least a medical urgency, if not emergency. Call your doc now, or go to er.
