OTALGIA: Neck stiffness can be associated with ear infection. Why don't you check it out?  Otherwise take analgesic or nsaids.

stabbing sharp pain in ear. i've had 5 ect treatments. last was on monday. pain started a few hours ago. also have chills, neck and shoulder ache. no fever.

Unclear.: You may have a viral syndrome.  What you describe is not a usual complication of ECT.  But you should inform the ECT doctor and the anesthesiologist: there is the chance that additional treatments need to be postponed.

Otitis media?: This sounds like otitis media, an infection behind the eardrum. It often requires additional treatment, or a different antibiotic, or sometimes drainage of fluid building up behind the eardrum. You should return to the doctor treating you. Even though it's the weekend, probably you can reach him or her, or someone covering. Call the office number and follow the advice you get. Good luck.

my sister (26)  had pain in ear neck and face swelling from 2 days and today her face was deviated from left side,  is this face palsy, is it curable?

Bell's palsy: Hi AmitT, sounds like bells palsy. Can be caused by infection (viral or bacterial), trauma, and exposure(cold or heat). It usually goes away on its own, but can last as long as 3 months. In rare cases, some sufferers can have permanent symptoms like slightly droopy mouth or watery/dry eyes. Have her doctor check her ears for infection as that is easily treated. Follow up with her doctor regularly

Inner ear infection: Most common cause of pain in the ear is an inner ear infection but there can be other causes.  An general practitioner should be able to look inside your ear and tell you if it is infected.

If this does't answer your question, the MRI is the best imaging  test  to examine the inner ear.

Best to be: Seen sooner rather than later by a dentist.  Wisdom tooth pain can be some of the worst pain one can experience; can also cause trismus (inability to open normally).  Best not to wait.  Hope this helps.

Get checked out: Many possibilities here, including an ear infection or simply impacted ear wax. Might be diagnosed simply with an ear exam.
