Quadratus lumbrorum : Typically quadratus lumbrorum painful trigger points will cause lower back pain due to its posterior location at the back, attaching the lower ribs to the iliac crest.  However, if there is involvement of the gluteal muscles and hip  region, due to anatomic instabilities produced in the kinetic chain, especially while walking  it is possible to have referred pain to the groin or thigh as described.

Bites: Keep area clean and dry,  You could put some topical antibiotic on spots if red.  Topical corticosteroid if itchy and oral Benadryl (diphenhydramine) for itch if needed.  If worsening redness with therapy get treated.

See Dermatologist: Most people will diagnose their groin rash or itching as a fungal infection and treat themselves with otc antifungal creams.  However not all groin rashes are caused by fungus.  Some rashes can be caused by irritation or allergic reaction to underwear or skin care products. Others may be caused by bacteria.  If you have tried otc products unsuccessfully it may be time to consult your dermatologist.

Neuropathic pain.: If you have recent injury to your back from a fall or lifting very heavy weight or sudden jerk, you may have "slippedDisc" and it may be pressing on the Sciatic Nerve and in certain position causing Sharp Shooting pain. Try Anti Inflammatory medicine like Ibuprofen and Applying Ice. 
 Get examined if not improved by this week end.
 I am not aware of any other medical condition that you may have.

?Hernia ?Back Disc: Sometimes small hernias in the groin will push on nerves very early, before you can feel a lump, and cause the kind of pain that you're describing.  Another possibility is a herniated disc in your back, pressing on the nerves to go to these areas.  You need to see a physician to sort this out, may need x-rays, and perhaps even a referral to a specialist.  Good luck and get well soon!

Can't tell: There are many potential causes for a rash.  If you are having abdominal discomfort at the same time, it may just be from a viral infection.  Try hydrocortisone cream to see if it helps. If problem persists &gt;2 weeks, may need to see your doctor.

Fungal infection: This sounds like you have a fungal infection, such as 'jock itch'. Go get an antifungal cream such as Tinactin (tolnaftate) or Lotrimin and apply it 2x day in a thin coat for several days. Be sure to dry yourself well after bathing, wear cotton underwear.
