Excruciatingly painful shooting pains in upper inner thigh/groin. lasts 60-90 seconds, intermittent but gaining frequency over 4 days. ends suddenly.

Neuropathic pain.: If you have recent injury to your back from a fall or lifting very heavy weight or sudden jerk, you may have "slippedDisc" and it may be pressing on the Sciatic Nerve and in certain position causing Sharp Shooting pain. Try Anti Inflammatory medicine like Ibuprofen and Applying Ice. Get examined if not improved by this week end. I am not aware of any other medical condition that you may have.
