?diverticulitis: Diverticulitis commonly causes left lower abdominal pain, sometimes exacerbated/relieved by a bowel movement.  Inflammatory colitises can cause symptoms. Constipation.  You should see a doctor if it has lasted longer than a few days or if it is severe and limiting your daily activities.. There are other causes as well and you may require a ct scan or colonoscopy to help sort them out.

See a doctor: Cannot tell where your pain is here. You need to see a doctor for a physical exam to be able to tell if you could have a recurrent umbilical hernia.

After the assessment you may then be referred to appropriate specialists which may include stress management therapy, neurologist, Otolaryngologist.

Yes: Increasing pain with defecation can be a sign of worsening endometriosis.  Make sure there is no other cause for your pain. Make sure you are not constipated and increase fiber in your diet. 

Advanced endometriosis can present in the posterior cul-de-sac causing painful defecation.

i believe i have an internal hemorrhoid  because my husband didn't see anything but i bleed and pain during bowel movement. what can i do? i've never had one before.

More possibilities: While an internal hemorrhoid is likely, other sources for bleeding cannot be excluded. Best would be to bring it to the attention of your primary care doc at earliest convenience. Mean time use stool softener, adequate hydration, steroid base cream or suppository.

Defecation syncope,: Is what you are describing. Significant vagal nerve stimulus from painful defecation or heavy bearing down. This is due to the Insulin resistance syndrome, get checked for this and follow a low-glycemic index diet and get frequent, aerobic exercise. But why so much pain with defecation? You need to see a gastroenterologist to figure this part of it out.

Exclude obstruction: You must be examined to exclude obstruction or stricture or other serious problem. Once this is done you must try to normalize your bowel movements, first starting with a stool softener along with fiber and roughage and adequate fluids. If not successful may progress to stimulants or osmotic agents.

Bowel Movement Pain: Pain during bowel movements are usually due to anal fissures (tears in the lining of the anus) or external hemorrhoids which have formed clots inside of them. The best thing to do is to see your physician who can accurately diagnose you and recommend the appropriate treatment.
