Viral?: Could be a viral illness.  Drink plenty of fluids, take Tylenol (acetaminophen) or Ibuprofen for pain, Benadryl for itching.  If not better in 2-3 days, see a doctor.  By the way, do not take both Ibuprofen and naproxen, they are similar meds and taking both increases risk of stomach ulcer or kidney damage.  Good luck!

Antibiotics do not treat the flu. My best advice is to have plenty of rest, drink plenty wanter, have plenty healthy food or light meals, and consult your GP if you don't feel better in 2-3 days. If you get worse, EC.
