Need more info: Most pelvic cysts arise from the ovary and are benign. A simple cyst is a fluid filled sac that has very specific characteristics on ultrasound. These are always benign. However, not all "cysts" are simple. There are benign and malignant lesions that are "cystic", but are not simple cysts. Ask your doctor to clarify it for you.

i just had sonogram/ultrasound on my pelvic. i don't have a reg ob/gyno, can sombody read my results and please tell me what it means?

No...: A good, true interpretation requires reading it with all the background knowledge of the subject, their history, why the test was ordered, and correlating it with findings on an exam. I would assume that the dr. Ordering the test would be the one to give you the results. But will suggest that if the test was done due to specific concerns, it is time to find a primary care doctor to review it with.

i had left side pelvic pain from adnomyosis was treated by hysterectomy. 5 weeks post op pain on left during sonogram. normal? will it go away?

Pain maybe unrelated: You will have to be your own detective and see wether pain resolves.If it doesn't then have a discussion with your gyn.

Indication?: Why was the sono done? For vein evaluation? If so then the femoral veins in the groin will be looked at and some will attempt to visualize pelvic (iliac) veins but not a full pelvic study. To look at a focal lesion in a leg? Then no pelvic look.

1) a complex cyst in the left ovary that measures up to 21mm has an appearanc?

Probably no followup: The question seems incomplete, but a 21 mm cyst would be considered physiological and not requiring followup.

Need to be seen: First, check a pregnancy test.  Second, it is still possible to ovulate when you are on the pill.  Finally, if you are sexually active and having waves of pelvic pain, then it is recommended that you be seen to rule out infection.

i am taking bc pills continuously for endometriosis and have been having increased pelvic pain. the sonogram  shows  heterogenous uterus with 8mm endometrium? what is next step?

Endometrial Biopsy : Your gyn may want to stop the pills and rescan or collect an endometrial biopsy next. Other options may include a d;c or endometrial ablation depending on your medical history.

how high do hcg levels have to be before one can get a pelvic sonogram?

1500-2000 at least.: After that level one should be able to see an early pregnancy sac with transvaginal ultrasound (depends on your body type, the machine used and the experience of the examining specialist). Take Folic Acid 1-5 mg daily and best of luck! cardiac activity usually seen after 4500-6000 - fyi.

i have  anterior intramural fibroid 2.4x2.4x2.5 cm which 6 months ago was 2.0x1.5x1.7 cm . i get constant pain in the pelvic and groin area. could it be the fibroids have 3 pelvic sonograms same resul?

Fibroids can grow: If you are in your 20's or 30's, then fibroids most definitely can grow in size and number.  Folks in their mid 40's tend to have fibroids that will shrink in time.  If you are finished having children, the your local ob/gyn doctor may suggest that you have a hysterectomy, since you have chronic pelvic pain.
