Yes and no...: Oxaprozin is helpful for temporary relief of toothache pain, as is any drug in the non-steroidal anti-inflammatory ("nsaid") class, such as Ibuprofen or naproxen. In contrast, baclofen-- a muscle relaxant-- is sometimes used off-label for chronic pain syndromes, but is generally ineffective for control of acute toothache pain. Caveat: treatment of toothache requires a dentist's intervention.

Yes.: No more effective than other nsaids, but indiviudals can benefit from one drug over another. Generic Oxaprozin is indicated for RA & oa: osteoarthritis and rheumatoid arthritis: the recommended dose of Daypro (oxaprozin)  for the relief of the signs and symptoms of osteoarthritis and rheumatoid arthritis is 1200 mg (two 600 mg tablets) once a day. Side effects are similar to other drugs of it's class.

Not 600 mg of oxycod: Oxaprozin or Daypro (oxaprozin) is a non steroidal anti inflammatory medication. Oxycodone is a controlled susbstance for pain. 600mg is a large dose and has to be controlled release medication. Always start out slow and small then increase your dose when u  consult your physician. Too much can be lethal.

It would be my choic: I would try generic Daypro (oxaprozin) first.  Their are many options other than narcottics.  They are the tereatment of last resort in chronic pain.

Aspirin: There is little reason for delay if the Aspirin dose has been small (example prophylaxis for cad). Daypro (oxaprozin) can be started 24 hrs later if Aspirin dose is therapeutic for antiinflammatory reasons (example rheumatoid arthritis, where 8-10 Aspirin might be used per day).  If there is renal insufficiency a longer delay might be necessary.

Depends on dose: Aspirin and Daypro (oxaprozin) are nsaids (nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs). Aspirin inhibits platelets more.  Platelets are needed for blood clotting.  Both agents can irritate stomach lining. So taking both at the same time can increase the risk for stomach bleeding, etc.  However, it is generally safe to combine baby Aspirin with another NSAID in patients who have heart disease. Wait at least one day.
