Ovulation: Women with regular cycles, have a surge in lh hormone levels that matures and ovulates (releases) the egg  24 - 48 hours later.  Not all women will get the discharge so you needn't worry.  If you had any treatement to the cervix, this will also lessen the amount of discharge. If you don't get pregnant, your period comes ~12-14 days after ovulation.

Yes: Ovulation is the release of your egg from it's casing inside your ovary. The maturing of the egg and causing it to leave the ovary is all driven by your hormones. These hormones also help signal your uterus to prepare itself for implantation of the fertilized egg. When an egg doesn't plant - the period is signaled to start. If the egg never breaks free the body just assumes it never got planted.

Ovulation: Ovulation typically occurs about day 14 of a regular 28 day cycle.  This is starting day 1 as the first day you bleed.  Their are kits available to pinpoint the exact day.

Ovulatory : Problems account for about 30% of female fertility problems. Tubal problems are a very close second, and other problems such as endometriosis make it a fairly long list. Of all couples who seek help for fertility issues, about 40% have a male (husband) factor. So "yes" many possible problems, testing with a doctor who understands the issues will figure things out quickly.

Not if had period: The pre-ejaculate fluid does contain sperm and you can get pregnant as the sperm can stay alive for sometime in your uterus.  If you already got your period, it is most likely that you're not pregnant.

Yes: You could be pregnant - but you say you have a normal period and then...  Had some spotting. That is menometrorrhagia.  In general good idea to see your gyn.

i had surgery for ectopic pregnancy 10 days ago and one tube was removed. will i have regular ovulation and period in the future?

Accepted Answer

Ectopic pregnancy: Normal pituitary function is not disturbed by removal of a tube with an ectopic pregnancy.  B/c there is only one tube remaining, see your ob/gyn provider for an x-ray of your remaining tube, to see if obstruction exists (HSG).  This will also clear obstructive tubal disease in many cases, and help prevent future ectopics.  Ovulation/menses should be as normal.

Pregnancy: Everyone's body is different - you may start ovulating within 3-6 months of stopping Depo or sooner, hard to say.  Unprotected sex can result in pregnancy, so take a pregnancy test is you have missed a period and did not use a form of birth control.

: You may wish to consult your obstetrician for further guidance. Certainly if you are not trying to get pregnant, you should employ some effective form of birth control until you sort all this out

Not naturally: With medications yes, but not naturally. A true menstrual period by definition  follows ovulation. There are many reasons for vaginal bleeding due to other causes, which can cause confusion, but these are not menstrual periods.  It is a safe rule of thumb that a woman with regular cyclic bleeding is ovulating.
