You may wish to consult your obstetrician for further guidance. Certainly if you are not trying to get pregnant, you should employ some effective form of birth control until you sort all this out

It varies from person to person, but ovulation can start up without warning, even during breastfeeding. If pregnancy is not desirable, a reliable form of contraception should be used now. Conception of a new pregnancy can occur right away.
