In the US, the anticholinergics are the largest class and include:  oxybutinin, tolteridine, solifenicin, trospium3 agonist, mirabegron.  Other medications that are sometimes used are antispasmodics, urinary analgesics and tricyclic antidepressants.

Exam is key: Have you been examined? If pelvic floor prolapse is your problem, you could start by doing pelvic floor PT , Kegel exercises or Pilates . Avoid bladder stimulants like nicotine and caffeine.  You could see how this works for a few months.

Overactive bladder: Many medications available. Oxybutynin ER available in generic form &amp; should be covered. Tolterodine might also be covered. If not covered U can appeal if oxybutynin was not suitable for you. Check with your insurance &amp; discuss with your Dr.. Side effects for all these medications included constipation &amp; dry mouth
