5-10 days: If done by laparopscopy, you go home the same day. Recovery varies but some women feel great 2 days after surgery and some take closer to 10 days to feel back to normal. But you can resume most normal daily activities within 2-3 days of surgery.

Good question: It sounds like you may have developed adhesions secondary after your surgery 6 years ago. This is not uncommon. Consult with a gynecologic surgeon who may suggest laparoscopic surgery to break up the adhesions.

Most likely fine: Most people who miscarry following surgery have symptoms in the first 48-72 hours. If you are not bleeding or cramping now, your should have almost the same risk of miscarriage now as someone who is  3 months pregnant who did have surgery.

i have a endometria ovarian cyst that is 3 centimeters. should i have it surgically removed ? if so why ? what happens if you dont get these cysts removed? how likely is it that i will lose an ovary if i get a cystectomy?

: "Endometrioma" is a term generally used to describe a blood filled ovarian cyst.  A "3 cm." cyst can continue to grow and usually will rupture spontaneously.  Endometriosis is a condition where scattered endometrium exists in the abdomen.  Ask your GYN physician about low dose oral bcps, the usual treatment for endometriosis.  Laparoscopy may be indicated for diagnostic accuracy.

i had laproscopic ovarian cystectomy 2 days ago... the wounds looks fine and there is no fluid leakage...but at a position a little away from one wound small swelling is there with a little bluish colour on the skin.is it something to worry about?

: The blue coloration may be related to skin bruising. Watch for fever, drainage and pain. Discuss your concerns with the  service that performed the procedure. Follow post procedure instructions.

Concerned: This may be the start of a urinary tract infection. This is a common infection after surgery especially if you had a Foley catheter placed during the surgery.

Get checked: If you are having pain in the right side and having severe pain, you could have an infection or appendicitis. See your doctor or if unnavailable go to the emergency room. Good luck
