Normal anatomy: Most likely explanation for what you see is normal anatomy. Those are probably bits of lymphoid tissue in the pharynx. They change in size depending on their immune activity.

Herpes?: Young people often get herpes type 1 infection around the time that they become romantically active. The bumps you are describing may be herpes type 1. Please see an ENT physician/surgeon if possible.

i had a cold about a month ago and my throat started to look veiny and the roof of my mouth was white and kind of yellow and i had orange and white bumps on the the back of my throat, my uvula felt like it was touching my tongue, and its there still?

Dr. can check throat: Throat pain and a throat coating can be from a strep throat infection (antibiotics are needed), a cold or influenza (antibiotics usually not used), or from some other cause such as allergies or irritants. Usually, a person sees the doctor if the sore throat is bothersome, recurrent, or doesn't go away quickly (mainly to check for strep throat). A month is a long time. Time to see the doctor.

Post-nasal drips: These are called cobblestoning from the post-nasal drips from the nasal mucous membrane or from a sinus infection.  Try nasal steroid for a couple of weeks to see if this helps.  If this remains a problem, consult an allergist.

Bumps in throat: Healthy tonsils look like two pink to orange bumps on either side of the back of the throat.  Inflamed tonsils are red and may have pustules, particularly in viral and strep infections. Herpes usually has erosions or shallow ulcers and is usually painful. If your throat is sore or swollen, or there are new growths, please see a doctor to a proper evaluation.

Drainage: Sometimes sinus drainage causes blisters on the back of your throat and can cause your tonsils(if you have them) to swell. I would get checked out if you are having severe pain or difficulty swallowing to make sure you do not have strep, mono or other ailments. Good luck

Infection/allergies: You may have either an infection or allergies. It would be best to have a doctor look at your throat and make sure that you do not have an infection that needs treatment. Make sure that you are drinking at least 6 glasses of water daily to thin the mucus, Drinking warm liquids such as tea may also help. Try also warm salt water gargles (1/4 teaspoon salt in 1 cup warm water)
