None: Except for treatment of symptoms. It is something you are born with and affects your nerve causing tumors.  When they cause other symptoms those other symptoms can be treated.

Depends: This is a benign tumor. The size and location dictate the surgical approach. If these tumors get large enough and/ or start to impinge on vital structures, the surgery should be complete removal.. I am not sure what you mean by conservative, and more info is needed for your situation to give you a more definitive answer.

i previously asked about pain after ovarian fibroma removal 3mths ago. the dr said possible scarring to adjacent tissue. is that dangerous? treatment?

Yes possible : Any time you have surgery it is possible to develope scar tissue around the surgical area. There is no easy fix. The only real way is to go an surgically remove the scar tissue. Sometimes that helps.

i have been told i have a fibroma tumor in my arm.  they say it is cosmetic and therefor doesn't require treatment.  it is causing pain and use of arm can be difficult.  why won't they listen?

Surgical removal: Fibromas or lipomas are benign, they can be left alone if not bothering you. But if it has started causing discomfort it should be removed.

Often by excision: Fibroma of tendon sheath is  benign  presenting as a small subcutaneous nodule slowly increasing in size. It may be seen in a  multinodular growth pattern,composed of bland,, spindle-shaped cells (myofibroblasts) in a dense, fibrous matrix. It  nearly always arises in the distal portion of an  extremity  While  benign,  recurrence appears in up to 40% of case. Excision used  to relieve symptoms but may be difficult due to adherence to tendon.

Palatal lesion: Your oral surgeon has used years of schooling and experience to evaluate your lesion and has concluded that it is most likely a fibroma. If you want a 100% definitive answer, the lesion can be removed and sent to a pathology lab for testing. The surgeons are trained to biopsy or remove suspicious lesions, so there's a good bet that he's correct.

Tobacco associated: You need to be tobacco free to be low risk. Chewing tobacco, pipes (Freud died from it), cigars are all risks. AND assuming tobacco free. Low risk. BUT scar tissue is a risk for the development of scar cancers and 2 of the small number of patients I've had die from cancers were with cancers in scar (lung, skin). 
BUT without any characteristics of cancer.....

Fibrous tumor: Fibroma is a term used to denote a benign growth composed of fibrous cells.  They are often firm or hard in consistency and can have an appearance like a scar.  Histopathologically, they are predominantly composed of a cell known as fibroblasts.

is it recommended to get a biopsy on a nonossifying fibroma?

Biopsy : A biopsy will always give you more information and the best decision on what to do about the lesion.
