Not to my knowledge: Wart treatment tends to be topical or by surgical removal.
Oral medication such as tagamet (cimetidine) may be used to help dry the area.

: Molnupiravir, manufactured by Merck, is only used for outpatient settings for mild to moderate case of Covid-19 infection, preferably in the first 3 days and not later than 5 days after symptoms appear. This medication should not have much effects for your son's illness.

: The effectiveness of their treatment determines whether this is true. Current treatment plans revolve around finding "detectable" levels of the virus in their blood during regular testing. If they achieve a "undetectable" level they are unlikely to pass the virus. Just being on treatment does not mean they have reached this point.

Depends on situation: Shingles is a re-activation of the chickenpox virus that hibernates in your nerve roots after you had it or the shot.For unknown reasons, it reactivates and causes the localized rash/pain. The blisters do contain virus, which could give your kids chickenpox. If they were vaccinated, that is unlikely. Covering the sores and hand washing prevents spread of the virus.The kids would not get shingles.

Accepted Answer

No: Medications are specific to the cause.  Antivirals are for virus infections, antibacterials are for bacterial infections, antifungals are for fungal infections and so on.  I do not believe that your pcp or other physician would inted to treat you for a parasitic infection with an antiviral.  There may be some confusion on what you have or what you are taking or there may me more to the story.

Different bugs: Anti viral medications are only effective for specific viruses (we have far fewer of these). The remainder of the antibiotic classes are indicated for a range of bacteria. Antifungals are considered a type of antibiotic but (you guessed it) attack the cell walls of fungii.

i have shingles its been a week and a half i finished my antiviral medication 2 days ago and my pain in back is this normal?

Shingles : This is not unusual as the nerve root has been inflamed and,unfortunately, postherpetic neuralgia may be a chronic condition. At this time I would ask a neurologist if a course of corticosteroid medication may be worthwhile. However it is not unusual for a typical case of shingles to have pain lasting a few weeks and then resolve.

Medication: If I read this correctly I would recommend you take one of the medications in the morning and the second one at bedtime.
