Not necessarily: He may have had some bleeding into the area after the cath or groin exposure for the AAA stent.   If the wound is healing well and isn't red or draining this should resolve.  If there is a lot of pain, redness or drainage from the wound you should call the vascular surgeon.

By site of the: operation I assume you mean the scar on your chest. This could be any of a number of different things none of which can be diagnosed over the internet. The mass needs to be seen and evaluated. Go to see the heart surgeon and show it to him.

So you had an aortic valve replacement, closure of a patent foramen ovale, correction of a coarctation,  and the rest is unclear to me.  Obviously very complex congenital issues - best to sit down with your cardiologist/cv surgeon and fire away with your questions! good luck.
