Allergy or infection: If yu sleep with your contact lens then most likely ii could be infection.  If you are not light sensitive, no foreign body sensation or pain with vision change then it can be allergic reaction.  Please consult your eye doctor.

: This might be due to a stye.  Warm compresses are used to treat a stye instead of cold compresses.  I would suggest you have a PCP or urgent care clinic take a look at it to get you the proper treatment.

my one eye is swollen towards the outer corner. very sore where there is a small lump. eye ball not sore. have slight bruising that makes it look like black eye but it got worse over night. should i go see a dr or get over the counter eye?
