Sure: Since it's only one hour difference then it will be fine no matter what kind of birth control pill you are taking. In general you want to take progestin only pills ("Mini-Pill", Micronor) within an hour of the same time each day. You have about a 6 hour window for combined contraceptives that contain estrogen and progesterone.

Clarify please : Do you mean same time of day? Or same sequence?  You can take the pill daily at any time as long as you don't skip a day.

Oral bcp timing: If the time is changed, one can always take the next active pill before having taken the last, to avoid breakthrough bleeding.  One can also stop the active pills at any time, wait 5 days and start a new pack at any time convenient.  Take the active pills within the same hour that the active pill was taken the previous day, to also avoid breakthrough bleeding.

Yes: The pill works by maintaining a level of hormone in your blood at a relatively constant level to prevent egg release. Minor adjustments in your timing will not alter that level to a significant degree. Skip it for a day or delay of 12+ hours would be more of a threat to a consistent hormone level.

Pregnancy unlikely: Using one RELIABLE birth control method correctly all the time, works very well. Using 2 birth control methods works even better than very well. However, life can be surprising sometimes. Thus, if a woman is not getting her birth control pill withdrawal bleeding during the inactive pills, or if she is just worrying about pregnancy too much, she can do a home urine pregnancy test once in a while.

Not recommended: Yes, but your risk forgetting to take your pills if you take it at different times everyday. If you switch for good and are consistent with taking the pills everyday at the different time you're probably ok. It is recommended to switch times once you start your period/ at the beginning of your next cycle. Talk to your OB about this before doing it.

Take it: Take one birth control pill per day. It is nice to do it at the same time but as long as you take one per day then you are covered.

ive been taking tarina fe 1/20 birth control pills for about a year. does the pill become less effective if i take it like a few minutes before and/or after? an example like if my time is usually at 9 i take it at 9:30 sometimes i forget?

: If the oral low dose bcp (Tarina Fe, for example) is taken punctually, within the hour of the previous day's active pill, breakthough bleeding can be avoided.  "Missing" an active pill by 30 minutes will not alter the effectiveness.  Starting the new pack should occur no later than the next day after the placebo pills are finished, if this interval is missed, pregnancy may occur.
