A member asked:

To change the time i take my birth control pills do i start after i finish the old pack and start a brand new pack?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Oral bcp timing: If the time is changed, one can always take the next active pill before having taken the last, to avoid breakthrough bleeding. One can also stop the active pills at any time, wait 5 days and start a new pack at any time convenient. Take the active pills within the same hour that the active pill was taken the previous day, to also avoid breakthrough bleeding.
