See your neurologist: He/She will try and clarify what she or you meant by rigidity and whether or not she appeared confused afterwards which are elements of a tonic seizure. Otherwise. the rigidity could have another explanation .After examination the neurologist will determine if she needs to have an EEG or not the results of which could point to the proper treatment.

Check with one's Dr.: One can ask one's Ob-Gyn for any research-based advice about avoiding metal detectors. Haven't heard any problems related to the typical metal detectors used in the community and in airports.

Depends: If her doc has not put her on bed rest or placed her on any other such restrictions I don't see how a movie is any risk. If she has been unstable and limited then any excessive stimulation may need to be avoided.
