NO herbals: OCD is defined as a obsessive condition with compulsive tendencies. There are some meds specifically therapy that are in the SSRI family. I would not take any herbals as these are not studied  and ST Johns wort is not appropriate for this. See your doctor and get the best advice. Most appropriate would be to see a psychiatrist.

Performance anxiety: Biofeedback might be worth a try. Ask your doctor for referral to a psychologist that does the procedure.

2 Main Types: There are 2 main types of exposure therapy that good for this. In vivo therapy invovles creating a hierarchy and systematically exposing yourself to more anxiety producing thought s , situations and chemicals.  Imaginal exposures are sometimes use when real life exposures would be impossible or too difficult. They both are efective if applied right.

my dad kissed my cheek today and i noticed afterwards he had a small scab of a remaining cold sore on his lip. i asked my mom and she said he had it for over a week and that im fine. im wondering what my risk of exposure was. i suffer from ocd?

: You should be fine by the following reasons: cold sores are mainly due to HSV-1, a common viral infection and you might already get it (up to half of the national population gets infected at least once in their lifetime); second, his lesion was more than one week so viral shedding is less likely; and third, if your cheek skin is intact, the virus can't get in even if lesion is actively shedding.
