Don't recommend: The reality is at some point you will have to have a 'relationship' with food; whether dining out, celebrations with friends and family or going to the grocery store.  Meal replacement plans are typically useful to get ready for surgery, otherwise have a poor record of long term weight control.  Eventually you'll have to quit buying the food and have a nutrition skill set.

Yes.: Virtually any weight loss program will result in weight loss for someone who is morbidly obese over the short term.  This could include something as easy as tracking calories, walking more or as elaborate as getting a personal trainer/chef or joining a health club or weight watchers program.  The most important thing to consider is whether the weight loss will be sustainable over the long run.

Extremes: I believe it is better for most to eat nearly everything in moderation instead of going on an extreme diet.  I don't see how getting ketosis, which may reduce your appetite, can be good for the body. As for the high fat, too much saturated fat is likely harmful because it promotes inflammation. If you must, try unsaturated fat.

Usually: Weight lifting can be healthy. It is important that your doctor clears you to ensure that you have the health to lift weights. It is good to start out with a trainer to ensure that you are using proper technique, pacing yourself correctly and insure that you have a spotter when safety dictates it.
