i have covid and flu and was prescribed different medications . 2 hours ago i took a ibuprofen 400 they proscribed me is it ok if i take a pill that says hydroxide/acetaminophen now ? they prescribed me this also?

: If your fever and aches are controlled with ibuprofen, you do not need to take acetaminophen. In general, it is a good idea to talk to the doctor who prescribed the medications.

Maybe ok: Truly homeopathic "medications" are made by repeated dilutions, so that the ingredient is not really there anymore (just the "essence" of it remains). That means there is no active ingredient left to cause any benefit. However, that also implies that the homeopathic "medicine" should be pretty harmless, unless some other non-homeopathic ingredient (such as some decongestant chemical) was added.

Can take 600 mg: You can take one dose as high as 800 mg at a time, and can take generally 600 mg every 6 hrs as needed.  Do not exceed 2,400 mg in 24 hr period.

Today effective management of migraine involves three specific strategies: 1) patient education, 2) non-pharmacological management (diet, sleep hygiene, acupuncture) and 3) pharmacological (medical) management. Yes to the doc: Cold or flu like symptoms can last up til about one week. The viral illness will make you fell very weak. The advil (ibuprofen) is good but make sure you do not take too much. I assume you mean the pain in throat fells like it is on the outside. I cannot explain this except this must be a very bad sore throat. Would see the doc tomorrow.

Okay but...: Ibuprofen is okay to take but it may make your stomach symptoms worse. It can cause irritation to the stomach lining. If you take it make sure to take it with a meal. Another alternative is to take an over the counter prilosec with the ibuprofen since it can protect the stomach from the harmful effects of the ibuprofen.
