for the past week i have had sensation on the lateral edge of my right foot sole. 
feels like there is either tape or sand on the outer edge and heel, and feels like something in my shoes/boots. 
there is no pain, no injury, and no numbness?

See an orthopedist: You need to see an orthopedist.  There may have been an injury to a meniscus or to the bursa under the patella that needs to be treated

Vibration Feeling: This is just a description of the sensation and could be from a circulation problem or a nerve problem.
It could also be from nothing none and many patients have this without any underlying condition.
Have a good neurological exam from your gp or from a neurologist.

sprained ankle 4 days ago diagnosed with right lateral ligament tear. under bandage over ankle and top of foot a little numb. severe swelling. is ok?

Rest: Ice, compression, elevation. If swelling is severe i would recommend crutches with no weight bearing. If numbness is being felt, the bandage may be on to tight and you need to let the doctor know, .

FASCIITIS: I would concentrate on the heel pain first; maybe plantar fasciitis. This MAY BE causing everything else.

Not generally: Isolated symptoms in the feet would not be common for hydrocephalus.

I would try: Physical therapy and stretching. See if that helps.

Nerve irritation: Numbness is often a sign of a nerve being irritated or pinched somewhere.  Diabetic patients for example get neuropathy.  Vascular issues may cause numbness too, such as when you get "pins and needles" in your feet if you sit on them too long etc.  If the problem persists, see your dr. And get evaluated and possibly have an EMG to start the diagnostic work up.

what causes numbness in butt and feet? is that sciatica?

Maybe: Sciatica usually refers to shooting pain coming from the back going down one (not both) of the legs.  Regardless such pain represents an irritation of some structures in the body.  Numbness represents a nerve (somewhere) not functionally properly.   These conditions require an evaluation by an appropriately trained health professional.

PN: Sounds like you may have peripheral neuropathy, a type of nerve damage, which typically feels like numbness, tingling or burning in your hands and/or feet. Peripheral neuropathy can result from problems such as injuries, infections, diabetes, metabolic problems, medications, and vitamin B12 deficiency. There are many medications available for this condition. Get evaluated by your doctor!
