have a mole that hasnt changed in years. but, looking at pictures from nine years ago, it has changed from dark brown to pale brown in that time. had a skin check seven months ago and was given the all clear. hasnt changed since then. concerning?

Nothing: A mole can occur nowhere on the skin, including on the penis. You may watch and wait. If the mole doubles in size, becomes irregular in size, shape or color, bleeds, ulcerates or develops a nodule, see a doctor.
For good health - Have a diet rich in fresh vegetables, fruits, whole grains, milk and milk products, nuts, beans, legumes, lentils and small amounts of lean meats. Avoid saturated fats. Drink enough water daily, so that your urine is mostly colorless. Exercise at least 150 minutes/week and increase the intensity of exercise gradually. Do not use tobacco, alcohol, weed or street drugs in any form. 
Practice safe sex, if you have sex.

from my last question about my mole is two colour brown in the middle and the rest of it is the same colour as my skin.is it a normal mole?

Mole: Only a biopsy will give a result.  There are 4 charterstics that doctors use, but for definite answer, only a biopsy will tell.

Trust your doctor: You doctor has examined you and knows more about your health than any one will in this forum. Do you have any reason to not trust your doctor?

Mole: Moles on the skin are very common.  If the growth is enlarging or changing, then see your doctor and have it removed.

my friend got a mole removed the other day and now the skin that was underneath is a tar black. is that normal?

Accepted Answer

Cautery: The doctor that removed the mole probably used either electrocautery or silver nitrate to control the bleeding after removal of the mole. Either method would turn the tissue underneath black.

mole 3mm rounded brown  scraped off in fall.   normal skin grew back with no mole.  any  cause for concern?   what to do re this ?

if a small skin mole is accidentaly scraped off and normal skin or scar remains (no mole re growth ) is that a concern?

Follow up difficult : This doesn't make a mole convert to transform to a malignant lesion but it does make follow up of the mole more difficult. Surveillance is still advised and you should seek medical attention if the mole changes, enlarges, bleeds, etc.

4mm uniform symmetrical blue mole (i think) on face. the skin around it looks lighter than my normal skin. does this sound normal?

Likely benign: As a general rule, lesions that are uniform in color, stable in size and uniform in shape are USUALLY benign. Skin cancers tend to be irregular in size, shape and color and may grow noticeably. However, if you are concerned about a lesion, especially on your face, see a dermatologist and consider biopsy/excision.

i got a white head on a mole i've had for years , it was hurting,  i popped it white stuff came out, and now it feels better. is this normal?
