i'm pregnant was wondering what blood glucose levels should be for fasting and 2 hrs after eating for normal pregnancy?

Targets vary: Gestational diabetes patients are often instructed to check their finger stick blood glucose 4 times a day (fasting and after meals).  Fasting in the am, most doctors i know try to have their patients between 70-90/95. One hour after eating, some doctors will try to keep you below 140, others strive for under 130. If you check 2 hours after eating the value should be under 120.

so would i normal pregnancy test confirm am pregnant of a blood test if i have pcos?

Tests are accurate: Today's home urine pregnancy tests are very accurate and not affected by PCOS. However, if done too early, a negative result may be due to testing too soon. A correctly done urine test will give a reliable result 3 weeks after sex (when conception might have happened) or 1 week after missing a period. A woman can repeat the test later, if she did the first test too early.

No: And don't take Aspirin during pregnancy unless your physician directs you to.

what to do if i have high blood pressure during pregenancy?

See your ob: Need to see your OB asap.  VERY important to control blood pressure during pregnancy for you and your unborn child.

Regular exersice (30-60 min, 5x/wk)
Watch your diet (salt, processed foods, sodium)
If on med for BP by your OB....take it....
Regular (even weekly at times) OB visits.

Obtain OB care.: Low blood pressure is normal in some women, however there can be many causes that are abnormal.  See your OB doctor for these problems.

Get examined now: BP of 240/120 is an emergency- please go directly to the ER...or go to your local UC clinic.

: Onset of common essential hypertension at your age is somewhat unusual. Kidney factors are a possible cause. A goal of 130/80 or lower is optimal.  Consulting a cardiologist would ensure proper workup,treatment and follow-up care.

blood pressure: It may be. It depends on what size cuff was used when the pressure was taken and what kind of instrument was used, electronic or otherwise.
