Yes: Sorry to hear you have this very distressing condition.
Random onset of hives is quite common and may not have anything to do with the aspirin particularly if there has been no lapse in the aspirin regimen.  Labs cannot confirm or rule out aspirin allergy. A careful history taking and timeline is essential.    FYI Aspirin / NSAIDS  sensitivity (aka AERD) is a different animal.

baby has iron deficiency anemia  and has fever for 3 days now. lab results show normal platelet count, low hemoglobin, high wbc. is this an emergency?

Not necessarily: You don't mention how old the baby is, but iron deficiency is rare before 6 months except in babies born prematurely. You don't mention how low the hemoglobin is, but unless it's very low the fever should not be a problem. If you're concerned, the doctor caring for the baby's anemia would have the best idea how concerned to be about the fever and the anemia.

my pro bnp is 227.  lab values are 0 -138 are normal.  how serious is this still elevated number?  it has been steadily falling from 8000 on 3/13/13.

CHF: Having the bnp number go down, is the most important thing!  compared to 8000, 227 is pretty darn good! control factors like blood pressure, wear compression socks for swelling, and take diuretics as directed by doc.  Call doc asap with any sudden onset of swelling with wt gain or shortness of breath--could mean another CHF exacerbation. Watch fluid intake and salt intake as directed.

Normal values: Normal values may vary due to the difference in the test brand name used and different values assigned for that test. I've noticed that too and it does look confusing but different companies use different technology designing their tests, so there is not much that can be done.

what does abnormal protein band 1, ser/plas, band 2 and band 3 mean on labs. it doesn't give values. all other labs are normal.

Protein band: If this is a serum electrophoresis or immunoelectrophoresis it suggests presence of an abnormal protein such as seen in gammopathy or multiple myeloma. A hematologist is best qualified to evaluate and advise you and further testing,such as bone marrow biopsy, may be advised depending upon that assessment.

i have had some lab work to find out my troponin levels and they were .13 and the other one is .18 is this normal or are these values high?

That depends: On the type of troponin level tested: trop-i or trop-t.  Generally anything 0-0.1micrograms/l is within normal range for trop-t, trop i is &lt;10 micrograms/l.  It also depends highly on the labs "normal ranges" as these differ from lab to lab.  Always good to stick with the same lab and methodology to follow trends in labs.  If at the er for chest pain to rule out mi, they would look at ekg's too.
