Normal: If the remaining half-thyroid is normal, your thyroid blood levels should be normal.

The same normals: That apply to everyone else. If you had a problem with 1/2 of your thyroid, you'll almost certainly develop the same problems in the other half -- and quicker since there's only half as much thyroid to take care of your body's requirements.
