my  3 mo hasn't pooped for 2 days & the consistency/color of her stool has changed from yellow and seedy to brownish green and peanut buttery. normal?

Sounds normal: Sounds ok to me. Breast fed babies have that mustardy grainy stool but it can change to greenish etc. easily. If it goes longer than 5 days you may want to try to stimulate her to have a bowel movement. Does she seem to be in pain?

my son is 2 months old. we started on gerber good start soothe but made a switch to similac proadvance. his poops went from a dark green thicker consistency once a day to a yellow/green looser stool w/ seeds/mucus in it multiple times a day. normal?

Probably normal: Bottle fed infants can have soft stool that is green, yellow or brown. It can be seedy or pasty, and can have bubbles or mucus in it. All of this is within the range of normal. Call your Dr if you notice decreased feeding, any fever, or blood in stool.

Mucus colitis: This mucus colitis may be due to a viral intestinal tract infection or a reaction/intolerance to something you ate. Since you don't have a history of recurrent episodes like this, I don't believe it's an irritable bowel syndrome flare up. Treatment is rest, intake of adequate fluids, avoidance of harsh roughage and taking kaopectate if needed to control troublesome diarrhea. See your MD as needed.

Stool changes: Changes in stool color or consistency are common and can vary with diet, water intake and stress.  If there is blood or fever, infections may also be of consideration.  Black, tarry stools also warrant a call to your doctor.  Otherwise, increasing dietary fiber and adequate water intake may help normalize most stools.

It starts out an intense green &amp; over time may change thru yellow to brown. The germs of the intestine convert the pigment as it transits the digestive tract. The less germ action the less color change. These color variations are normal.

Depends on Diet: Stool is usually Brown, but if diet Vegetarian may be lighter in color. Pancreatitis (Alcohol, high Triglycerides,  gall stones ++ can lead to light colored stool - Pancreatitis Ruled out with simple blood test). You should see an internist and get a battery of Blood tests to make sure nothing is abnormal - would do this right away - just need a blood slip from doctor.

See below: You must be breast feeding, as yellow mushy stools are seen especially with breast fed infants.  He may stool after every feeding.  Make sure infant is urinating 6-8 times a day or you may need to add some water to his diet..

Yes, normal.: What you describe is normal, yes.  When it comes to stool color, black stool or bright red blood are generally the only colors where one needs to be concerned.
