See details: You did not actually ask a question but it is difficult to give you a cause without being able to examine the knee and the mri. If you are not getting answers, get a 2nd opinion.

scratched a scab on my knee. went to clean it up and saw a big clot formed. i know clotting is normal but is it normal to happen that fast? normally bleeds for a bit. i do have pv, but my cbc is normal as of last week?

: You should only concern if bleeding is prolonged not shortened. In polycythemia vera (PV) high platelet count does not mean your bleeding time will be shortened; further, your CBC was normal last week. There is nothing to concern in this case.

having very mild night sweat several times/week. only hairline, thigh crease, and bend of knees damp. normal cbc. doc seems unconcerned. pursue more?

No: occasional night sweats in otherwise healthy individuals are very common. If you do not have other symptoms and the examination by your PCP is normal then nothing more is indicated at this time. If you start having fever, chills, weight loss or respiratory or gastrointestinal symptoms then further investigations would be warranted.

Hard to say: You would certainly want to be thoroughly evaluated.  The lymph system is the filter system for the bloodstream and so systemic thing like infection can cause swollen nodes as you have described.  If workup for infection is negative, a rheumatologist might be able to shed further light on the source.  Thank you for your question.

Consult internist: My next visit would be with an internist or an internist who specializes in infectious disease.Your gyne has basically decided it does not fall into his/her area of practice. I would look at the issues in broader terms.

Many possibilities: Your pain could be as a result of many different things. A thorough history and physical exam and possibly some laboratory and radiology exams are needed to determine the exact cause. Causes of pain may include: trauma (fracture, tendon or ligamentous tear, arthritis), infection, metabolic conditions (gout), musculoskeletal or biomechanical abnormalities.

is it normal for a 20 year old girl to have knee pain and cracking?

Maybe: If you are an athlete then yes. Cracking is not an issue - many people crack. Pain is another story. You could just be misaligned and when you are realigned (see a chiropractor) then your pain well improve. I also have see massage therapy and acupuncture help. If it is severe then also see an orthepdist.

Knee pain: 2 choices. You can see an Orthopedic Surgeon to determine if there are anatomic problems that need to be rectified. You can see a Rheumatologist who can help you manage your pain levels perhaps with medication/exercise/diet.

my friend have knee pain  taking  ibprofun 600mg 3 time a day and tylanol 650mg 2 time a day  take tylanol 2hr after taking ibprofun  is that normal?

Yes: It's usually okay to combine tylenol and ibuprofen, but I would want to make sure your friend has seen a health care professional to make sure that there is not another treatable cause for his/her knee pain.
