Maybe: If you are an athlete then yes. Cracking is not an issue - many people crack. Pain is another story. You could just be misaligned and when you are realigned (see a chiropractor) then your pain well improve. I also have see massage therapy and acupuncture help. If it is severe then also see an orthepdist.
