Stop taking them: The only way to tell is to stop taking the supplement for at least 2 weeks. If the skin reaction subsided, that'd be the clue. If  you want to be double-sure, try the supplement again to see if the skin reaction returns.

Nordic Naturals: is a well respected brand.  Please read the label and make sure that when you add the EPA &amp; DHA that the sum is 50% or more of the total sum of each capsule.  Also, make sure the fish oil has been purified.  Peace and good health.

Supplements: Depending on the cause of your spinal stenosis there may not be foods that can reverse this.  However foods with turmeric or curcumin are natural anti-inflammatories that may alleviate some of your pain.

Lots: Among some of the available otc natural emollients available for dry skin that are rich in omega 3 and 6 are emu oil and flax and hemp seed oil. Of sourse eating oily fish like salmon, and nuts and enriched eggs are good too.

Meds not working: There are many benefits of Omega Fish Oils, and some people do feel that they help to stabilize the mood and improve inattention.  However, in a person who is already on several psychoactive Rx medications, Omega Fish Oils will likely not provide the mood stabilization you are seeking.  A re-evaluation of your current medication regimen would be more prudent.

Grave's Disease: You should not have any fears of taking tapazole (methimazole).  The medication has been around for over 30 years and works well for the treatment of grave's disease.  There are no proven natural treatments for grave's disease.  You should not stop omega 3s or vitamins, however, during your treatments.  The disorder should resolve in 1-2 years and you should no longer need the tapazole (methimazole).  Do not fear taking this.

Omega 6 diet sources: Omega 6 (o-6) fatty acids are mostly  in "land" foods,  animal products, e.g. Beef, pork, poultry, eggs, dairy (other than non fat- skim milk etc.), beans (e.g. Soy), grains (e.G  corn, wheat, etc), nuts (walnuts have some o-3).
Omega 3 are mostly in sea foods (especially fatty fish, although they have  o-6 too.  Wild fish get o-3 from krill.
Land  o-3 (walnuts, purslaine, flax not as well used).
