Hard to tell...: It can be hard to tell if a woman is pregnant because some of the symptoms seen in early pregnancy can also happen in non-pregnant women. A urine pregnancy test gives a reliable result if done correctly. One can test about 3 weeks after sex (3 weeks after when conception might have occurred), or 1 week after missing a period. An Ob-Gyn doctor can evaluate any persistent or recurrent symptoms.

Options: It is quite typical for women with PCOD to miss periods. That is one of the characteristics. Some doctors will regulate cycles with Progsterone as you suggest. It is more typical to regulate with combined oral contraceptives to provide Estrogen and Progesterone balance.

Ovaa Shield ?'s: Ovaa Shield is a stimulant for ovulation used in PCOS, but in some cases of PCOS, the amount of "Ovaa Shield" needs to be increased for ovulation to occur. If you have not had a period in 21-25 days after use, you may be pregnant or you may have not ovulated. Obtain a serum HCG test to be certain about pregnancy. See your physician if the test is negative, the dose may need to be increased.

i have pcod since 2 yrs. my last period was 17 march 2014. now doc put me on course of gycomet 250 (2 per day) will it help me get pregnant?

It may: Metformin may certainly help, but if you're trying for pregnancy, there are reports that Clomiphene may work better. Talk it over with your gyn.

See an fertility doc: Pcos is a common illness in which ovulation cycles become locked.  There are some conditions that should be tested, like problems with the adrenal gland, and uterine health, and the problem is often easily treated with medications. Pcos probably will not get better on its own, so find an expert and seek advice.

Yes: Urine pregnancy tests are very accurate.I would also suggest talking with your health provider about contraceptive,that would have dual purpose of regulation of period and contraception.

i'm having pcod, i got my periods on   21st april. i have taken clomid (clomiphene) 100g daily for five days.  when do u have try to get pregnant?

Generally the clomid (clomiphene): Is used days 5-9 of cycle, ovulation would be expected on day 14.  Don't wait until then to have intercourse. Also there is some data to suggest that mucinex, (guaifenesin) for sinuses, can thin the mucus of the cervix that can occur with cloid.  It may help. Good luck.

i had unprotected sex with my partner in january 31st to till today february. i have pcod problems. in january my periods is missed. my periods date is approximately 27 after that i had unprotected sex. is there chance to get pregnant?

: Pregnancy is "possible", but with true "PCOS" ovulation is infrequent or absent for long intervals.  The usual treatment for PCOS is low dose oral contraceptives, which preserve future fertility, and stop abnormal cell production in the uterus from the extended higher estrogen produced with PCOS.
