Yes: Because these 2 are from different classes of medication, it is fine to alternate Ibuprofen and tylenol (acetaminophen) for a short term basis.  I am also assuming that you have normal liver and kidney function.  However, if your symptoms do not improve with this regimen, you should see your doc.

hi.  i am trying to learn to sleep with a cpap.  i also take a night time medication such as tylenol pm because my bed is too soft. it's newer but i don't like it.  for some reason even with both, i am not sleeping well. i don't know what else to do. plea

Nighttime cough: If the cough is a back of the throat tickle due to mucous draining down from the nose and sinuses when you first lie down, i personally find the most effective medication to be a mixture of Phenergan (promethazine) and Codeine cough syrup. If the nighttime cough is happening in the middle of the night associated with a sensation of tightness or wheezing in the chest, asthma inhalers will be more effective.

i am taking arv at 20h00 at night . i will be travelling overseas. i am not sure what time i must take my medication when i am there. please advise?

Doesn't matter: I think you have been misled by warnings about not missing any ARV doses. But only repeated missed doses are a problem; missing a single dose now and then is harmless. You can either skip one dose for several hours  or take a dose early, then continue taking the drug at 20:00 in whatever time zone you're in. Same thing when you return home.

If consistently high: 141/92 is stage 2 hypertension, so the doctor will likely consider medications, but each patient is looked at individually.  The categories are:  Elevated Blood Pressure: systolic between 120-129 AND diastolic less than 80; Stage 1 hypertension: systolic between 130-139, OR diastolic between 80-89; Stage 2:  systolic at least 140, OR diastolic at least 90 mmHg.

Consider Melatonin: Use good sleep hygiene. Keep regular bed &amp; wakening time (even weekends). Get up same time daily. 2. Use regular, relaxing bedtime routine: warm bath / shower, aromatherapy, reading, or listening to gentle music. 3. Sleep in dark, quiet, cool room w comfy mattress &amp; pillows. 4. Bedroom only for sleep &amp; sex.  Put work materials, computers, &amp; TVs in another room.

is 171 ldl too dangerous... i have started medication rosuvastatin 10mg once a day at night time. i do not do any exercises. will i be okay?

Effective: 10 mgs of Rosuvastatin will effectively lower your LDL and is well tolerated. Have your liver enzymes checked with your follow up labs in several weeks. It's a good idea to take coq10 when taking statins.

Depends on the drug: Some medications need to be taken at the same time each day (plus or minus 30 minutes can usually be considered "the same time", for a drug that's taken once or twice a day). With other medications, the exact time is not as important. One should ask his prescribing doctor about his medications, to see which ones are important to take at the same time each day, and which ones are more flexible.
