Ear pain: Recommend that you see two practitioners.  See ENT for ear/throat evaluation.  See Dentist for oral evaluation.  The first thing that has to be done is to rollout infection.

does peppermint oil have any long term effect on your teeth?

Not exactly: Oils like peppermint oil has very little effect on the enamel of the teeth, 
the effect could come (if these oils are colored ) in the form of stains and deposits.
If you clean you teeth regularly , brush, floss and of course see you dentist regularly , it shouldn't be a problem

Not really known how: There are 6 ways to whiten teeth once stained: oxidation (pro method w/ peroxides), abrasion (toothbrush w/ toothpaste, baking soda or pumice), "white-out" type "paints, "  dehydration ("zoom", a hair dryer), contrast (an old theater trick: dark lipstick, suntan, dark skin) and dental materials. Studies of "oil pulling therapy" show results because of improved plaque control-brushing-not the oil.

hi, my top teeth to the right the back tooth to the right just started hurting. when i bite down it hurts, is there any way to relieve the pain at home? i have peppermint oil would that help?

NSAIDs: OTC pain meds will help for the short term, giving you time to get to see your dentist. Maxillary posterior teeth that hurt upon biting could be fractured, have a necrotic nerve, have a carious lesion, or have roots with close proximity to an inflamed sinus. In any event you need to see a local dentist to treat the dental issue or rule out any dental problems. Peppermint oil can burn your gums.

Yes: All you need is fluoride, calcium, and phosphate. Two of these are already in your saliva.

Strange: Never heard of that problem. I would suspect a dental problem. See your dentist for exam.

Why?: Ok, yes. Effective, no. Use a dentifrice that has been formulated to clean teeth and that contains fluoride to reduce chance of cavities. Look for ADA seal on package. Brush w pea-sized portion of t'paste for 2 full minutes by the clock. Even more important, floss daily. Use soap on your skin, not in your mouth. Use toothpaste in your mouth, not anywhere else.

is it ok to give my 2month old baby a tip of cod liver oil to implement strong bones and teeth?

Cod liver oil: Will not affect dental enamel strength.

Not really: Use a mix of 1/4 clove, 1/4 oreganeo and 1/2 olive oil that will help you mouth.
