: You appear to have paresthesias, which are early signs of a peripheral neuropathy.  See your doctor, get examined, and obtain basic blood studies.  An EMG test would be helpful.  A neurologist may be necessary.  Get proactive and intervene soon, as many of these problems can be managed and reversed.

Have your doctor evaluate your situation, as it is impossible to predict what consequences may ensue, BUT cover the possible risks.  We have NO way of predicting where this may proceed.  Hopefully, this is a chance encounter and winds up harmless.

: Very tiny needles may provide almost imperceptible discomfort, especially in patients who have peripheral neuropathy.  There are cases of bats carrying rabies, who have bitten unaware patients who later contracted rabies.  It is not unusual to be bit by a mosquito and not be aware until later (local numbing).  Lots of permutations conceivable.

If a curious person is concerned about being clandestinely poked with a needle, and constantly thinks about things like that, then the answer is, "of course you always know if somebody pokes you." if the person is easy-going and never thinks about those things, then the answer is, "possibly someone with a tiny needle can poke you without your knowing.".
